ACWA Will be sponsoring a hand saw making class at the end of October. We Will be making 22″ panel saws. We will start with a pre-cut 1095 spring steel plate, that we will tooth on a Foley re-toother. We will than use brass split nuts to attach our walnut handles. Monday February 29th 7:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. Location TBD. We will cover basics of chisel and hand plane iron sharpening. Learn to use a honing guide as well as free hand. Bring a chisel or plane iron that you would like to sharpen. Class will be limited to ten people. Contact Charles to sign up.
